Art is sound

The Wind is a flute playing in my ear the soft sound of the waves mixing with our earth is a beautiful sound. The way the waves push out into the open is like a person grinding cheese. The laughter of children is a soft joyful music in my ears. The birds swooping down are like butterflies on a nice spring day. I like when the ocean and wind mix because they make a perfect when they are together. This is the sound the ocean and the wind make together it is like a Wish-Whoosh, Splash. It is a beautiful sound the splash reminds me when I jump into a pool. The birds sound like a harmonica in my ears. The soft white foam hitting the sand makes a beautiful sound like sand paper on wood. The soft sound of the ocean breeze are like spring flowers moving in windy spring day. I love how the gentle wind make you fee like you are standing in the clouds. The birds wings flapping against the ocean breeze hearing how it struggles through the breeze is rougher is sounds like to kids fighting for a doll. The collision of the water and the soft sand is like a baby sucking a milk bottle. The sound reminds me of a cool day I went to the beach with my family and just relaxed and had fun the laughter of the children is like birds singing in the beautiful sunshine. I love the way that the soft wind makes you feel very relaxed as if you were floating in mid air. The sounds of the waves of the way I feel in the spring and summer because it is when the beach sounds are the most beautiful because of the sounds at that time the birds flying against the wind and the sounds of children playing and laughing are so sweet to my ears it make me really happy. The sound of the ocean colliding with the earth was my cousin's favorite sound before he passed away for cancer and it was his favorite place to go and relax because he was only a 11 year old kid who liked hearing the sounds of the ocean so when I hear this beautiful sounds they remind me of my cousin. So next time you go to the beach relax and pay attention to the sounds around you because it is true art.

  1. 1)I liked how you wrote a lot of similes and metaphors and I liked how they actually made sense. I liked how everything was so descriptive and how you could actually see the waves crashing onto the sand. I also liked that you can almost hear waves crashing on the wet, packed ground.
2)I liked how you said that the ocean foam hitting the sand sounded like sand paper rubbing against wood. With that you can really imagine the scratchy noise that the sand paper and wood make together. It also makes it easier to imagine the 'Wish-woosh' that the waves make.
3)I think maybe you should mention the kids a little more. Something like the children's laughter rang in my ears like chimes. Be more specific when you say that the children's laughter sounds like joyful music.
